Focus Features have released the first trailer of Gus Van Sant’s film, ‘Milk’, based on Harvey Milk, the Gay Rights activist and city politician who on his third attempt, was elected to San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors in 1977, making him the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in the USA.
The film also stars Emile Hirsch and Josh Brolin and is due to be released in the US on the 5th December.
